Maths is an essential part of your child’s learning and their future life skills.  If your child is reluctant in Maths and feeling that they can’t keep up with their friends, then I can help.

Sometimes your child just needs some support and encouragement to provide them with the essential ingredients to feel confident with Maths.  I can help through a personalised curriculum with progressive steps, tailored to your child’s individual learning needs.

If your child is excelling in Maths and is finding it ‘boring’, I can provide a challenging curriculum to help them to revive their love of Maths.

I can encourage Maths learning through a creative and practical approach encompassing all aspects of Maths – (covering all key areas of the Primary Curriculum such as fractions, decimals, measurements, mental maths, arithmetic, problem solving and times tables).

The activities that will be adopted by me to support your child’s individual Maths learning needs will cover a variety of effective and recognised methods and will include:

• Computer based learning using the latest product that is commonplace in the Tutoring Sector
• Work book based activities, to support and enhance the computer based learning, and work based activities taken directly from the National Curriculum
• Creative work sheets, developed by me over many years of front line teaching in the classroom, that will bring together all your child’s learning in a fun but challenging way

A free assessment will be provided in order to gain an understanding of your child’s Maths abilities.  This will highlight your child’s strengths as well as areas for further development in this subject and will be used to plan and prepare a truly individualised Maths programme for your child’s learning needs.
