My Learning Land was set up by Louisa to provide your child with a genuinely professional and personal tutoring service that will provide tailored schemes of activities across the full primary age range (4–11 years).  All lessons take place in a brand new classroom with full modern facilities.  Tutoring is also available to children outside of these age ranges where the younger child is gifted and in need of further challenges or the older child is in need of tutoring to support their learning.

When you visit My Leaning Land for the first time your child will be given a free assessment that is truly without obligation to you as a parent.  This assessment will allow you and your child to be introduced to Louisa and allow you to visit to the classroom where lessons will take place.  Confident that you will like what you see and enroll your child with My Learning Land, the assessment will be used to start your child’s learning at the appropriate level, confident that your child can achieve the challenges set in the classroom and during homework topics.  Further assessments and parental feedback will be completed at regular intervals to ensure your child remains on track with their progress.

Louisa is confident that through her tutoring style and services, your child will feel welcomed, safe and happy and will have fun with the challenges being set.  Louisa’s aim is to help your child grow in stature and be more successful in all learning environments, whether that be during normal school attendance or through their other extracurricular activities.

Your tutor

Louisa is an experienced primary school teacher who has worked at all levels of the primary curriculum for nearly 25 years and, having attained her B.Ed. Hons degree at a university that specialised as a teacher training centre, she has gone on to achieve her Qualified Teaching Status, meeting the national standards expected of all teachers.   Louisa was always a respected and valued member of the teaching staff at a local school which achieved an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ in its last Ofsted Assessment.

To compliment her continued teaching career, and to add to her wide range of teaching and tutoring experience, Louisa has also worked with one of the market leaders in tutoring services where she was praised and recognised for her fun, creative and friendly approach to her tutoring role.
